AWSimple - a simple API for basic AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS) with James Abel

AWSimple provides a simple, object-oriented interface into AWS โ€œserverlessโ€ cloud services. AWSimple also provides some additional features, true file hashing (SHA512) for S3 files,
locally cached accesses, DynamoDB full table scans (with local cache option) and built-in pagination.

James Abel is a hardware and software engineer in the Bay Area. He currently works for a MedTech startup, using Python for much of the software stack. He has more than 3 decades of industry experience in the areas of hardware and software engineering, computer architectures, design automation, application and architectural analysis, performance optimization, and digital signal processing.

This talk is about linters and formatters that Arthur uses in his day to day work, and how he uses the pre-commit package to automate their usage.

Arthur Rio is a dad/husband, hacker, hockey player, and, of course, python lover. CTO of Notivize, a notification system as a service platform. He moved from France ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ทto San Francisco ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธin 2011 and currently living in lovely Broomfield, CO.
