Brian Doll, New Relic

Brian Doll is a Managing Application Performance Engineer at New Relic, which means he's a systems architect and a performance expert. He's been building things on the web for over 14 years across industries and at companies large and small. He speaks frequently on lean engineering, web application performance, and systems architecture. Having been inspired by Ruby and reinvigorated by Rails, Brian has been an avid contributor in the Ruby/Rails community since early 2007.

Guillaume Luccisano, justin.tv

Guillaume Luccisano is a Ruby on Rails engineer at justin.tv. He has been pushing Ruby on Rails performance for 4+ years including writing a real-time game server in JRuby and high-performance event-machine based distributed Ruby solutions. If you're looking for where to optimize and what the upper limit of Rails is, Guillaume has the answers.
