About us

Whether you work on robots full time, part time, as a hobby, or are interested in getting involved with robots, this group is for you! Our speaker events and show'n'tell sessions will showcase the latest in new robot platforms, software, hardware and sensor technologies.

We are trying to develop a strong community dedicated to moving the robotics industry forward by bringing the best robotics minds in the area together to network, brainstorm, collaborate, and take real action to execute our ideas and visions.

Wow -- some quotes from last meetup: "Best meetup I've ever gone to!" and "Hands down best hardware meetup around!".

Circuit Launch, 8000 Edgewater Dr Suite 200, Oakland, CA, US

Join us for another great evening of networking, short talks and robotics and AI demos at Circuit Launch in Oakland.

You can sign up here (Eventbrite) for a short talk, and/or a demo or hiring table with social media shout out. Just want to attend and enjoy? RSVP here (Luma).

Big thanks to our venue hosts at Circuit Launch !

Special Guest Speakers from VUB in Belgium:

    • Bram Vanderboght, Sustainable Robotics
    • Constantin Scholz, Coera
    • Pablo Lopez Garcia, Ailos Robotics

And thanks to our table and talk sponsors:

    • Matt Brown, CEO Thoughtforge

    • “The Next Control Layer: Autonomy for the Messy, Variable, Real World”
Most robots are trained once and deployed hoping the world holds still; this talk is about what changes when the world is allowed to move and the robot learns to move with it.

    • Prachi Sethi, Developer Relations @ Open Mind

    • "What If Robots Could Make Their Own Decisions?"
Let’s talk about modular, hardware-agnostic software for robots—OM1 brings cognition to machines, with the ability to scale all the way to full autonomy.

    • Dominic Lee, Founder of GyroPalm

    • What if you could train robots, control computers, and monitor environments with a flick of your wrist? Learn how these gesture-controlled AMRs were designed and brought into real-world environments using ROS2, and what it actually takes to move from prototype to deployment.

    • Circuit Launch is a community of startup and established electronic hardware companies, where we provide our members with office, lab, and micromanufacturing workspaces, plus full access to Circuit Launch’s open and diverse network of industry leading Engineers, Suppliers, Manufacturers, and Hardware-Friendly Investors.

Silicon Valley Robotics supports innovation and commercialization of robotics technologies, providing an accelerator for the hard tech ecosystem. Connect with investors, cofounders and industry partners.
