Volunteers for RailsBridge Workshop for Women #32

The Railsbridge Workshops page recently underwent a big overhaul, and you can now find all your favorite resources here: http://workshops.railsbridge.org/resources-for-teachers/ . Highlights: links to Installfest & Curriculum, as well as teacher training slides & the beginning programming skills slides that you'll use if you're teaching a beginner or advanced beginner section.

We're going to doing teaching training during the Installfest tomorrow night. The plan is generally that experienced teachers will keep assisting with the install while new teachers meet and go over the teacher training materials. (Except for the experienced teacher that is wrangled into helping with the teacher training. We're still accepting applications.)

I believe in recent workshops we've also identified a Keeper of the Updates to be the main repository of glitches and needed updates to the Installfest instructions. If that sounds fun, please let yourself be known.

  *** While Jessie's doing the opening presentation, we're going to huddle and split into classes, so arriving in advance of this meeting is critical.
