Heat Pump Home Tour with SF Climate Week
Details
Buildings cause nearly a third of U.S. greenhouse gas pollution, largely due to fossil gas-burning appliances. Luckily, we can change that - and electric appliances (which can run on clean energy like solar and wind) - are also better for your health.
Come see a heat pump, hang out outdoors, and connect with other climate changemakers at this lunch with a unique tour of an all-electric home - that's right, there's no more gas meter here!
THIS IS A POTLUCK - PLEASE BRING A DISH TO SHARE. Your RSVP is not confirmed until 1) you RSVP here on the Luma page: https://luma.com/ain7hs7f and 2) you email info@sanghastrategies.com with what you plan to bring - because space is limited.
Where: an East Bay back yard, OUTDOORS (bring layers)
Note that we may move things indoors if it rains.
This will be about half a mile from BART and near AC Transit bus stops. Free bicycle parking and car parking is available as well.
Email info@sanghastrategies.com after you RSVP to get the exact location.
At this event, you'll get a chance to meet a local heat pump installer, and get all your HVAC questions answered.
Attendees will also get an **exclusive discount code** to buy a new Impulse induction stove. Thanks Impulse for co-sponsoring!
Note: this is a zero waste event so while silverware, plates, and cups are provided, you are welcome to BYO too!
Accessibility note: the back yard is wheelchair accessible. However, the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible.
Note: By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of SF Climate Week, Sangha Strategies, and Electrify My Home.
