World Day for the End of Speciesism Demo & Promote World Vegan Festival

Are you vegan or trying to be vegan for the animals? Are you interested in protecting all animals and promoting veganism?

SFVS has been invited to participate in the 11th World Day for the End of Speciesism (https://end-of-speciesism.org/) by organizing a public event to stand up for animals. Here's the plan:

1. Make or print a sign. Here are some resources you can use https://end-of-speciesism.org/en/resources/ or create your own.

2. Wear your animal rights shirt (if you have one) or just wear black and bring your sign to the meetup at Union Square at the corner of Post & Powell. We might move to a different area depending on the weather, foot traffic, and noise.

3. Some of us will stand together and hold our signs while some of us will inform passersby about San Francisco Vegan Society and the upcoming World Vegan Festival on November 1st. We may also pass out information about Bizerkeley Vegan Festival and Sonoma VegFest in September.

4. After we finish (approximately one hour), we can have dinner at a nearby vegan restaurant (Mr. Charlie's, Rad Radish, Enjoy Vegetarian, Golden Era, etc.)
