Let's get some fun exercise with indoor rock climbing at Mission Cliffs in San Francisco! We'll meet at 5 p.m. and climb until 7, then head to a nearby spot for some tasty grub with plenty of vegan options.
First-time climbers are welcome!

Notes:

  1. You don't need to be a Touchstone / Mission Cliffs member to attend. Mission Cliffs charges a day-pass fee, and Touchstone members can get their guests a $5 discount on the regular day pass. I may also have a limited number of free guest passes available. More info:

  2. New to climbing? You're welcome! You don't need to pass a belay test just to join us. Beginners can boulder, and those climbing on ropes can climb with an experienced, belay-certified partner. If you'd like to belay someone yourself, you'll need to pass Mission Cliffs' belay test. First-timer info:

  3. Rental gear is available at the gym, including climbing shoes and harnesses.
  4. Parking in the area can be tricky, so public transit is encouraged. There's also plenty of bicycle parking.
  5. At 7 p.m., we'll head out for dinner! Have a favorite nearby spot with good vegan options? Let us know.

This is a community-led gathering and is not an official SFVS event.
