This is the AI/Vibecoding Shootout — and we’re bringing QuipVid back from the dead.

Each presenter will be given the same problem: modernize and rebuild a portion of the beloved but long-abandoned QuipVid app (https://quipvid.com/). But this time, they’ll be leaning hard on tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or whatever strange concoction of prompting, intuition, and desperate googling they consider “vibecoding.”

Just like previous shootouts, presenters will:
• Introduce their chosen tools and AI setup
• Walk through their development process and decisions
• Showcase their solution to the shared challenge
• Reflect on what was awesome, what was painful, and what was totally made up by the AI

This shootout is all about exploring the frontier of software development.
