The ground is rapidly shifting under everyone as AI reshapes what leadership looks like in the tech industry. Engineering managers are tasked with leading teams through complex new Machine Learning and Generative AI paradigms, but there is a hidden cost to this rapid innovation: a massive spike in imposter syndrome. Feeling like a fraud is a widespread psychological experience of self-doubt, and when technical teams face uncharted territory, this fear of being "found out" can paralyze progress.
Drawing on 15 years tech experience, as well as leading global teams and AI/ML initiatives at a multi-billion-dollar SaaS company, this workshop merges technical leadership with practical psychological frameworks. We will reframe imposter syndrome not as a lack of ability, but as a powerful signal that you and your team are at the edge of your comfort zone, actively stretching into new, innovative territory.
