An Introduction to Fermentation (Salt, Sugar, and Acids) & Creating your very own Craft Cocktail using Local Ferments and Brass Lion GinLearn about the main flavour profiles of WILD ferments! Some foods that use fermentation includes bread, chocolate, coffee, cheese, bean pastes, and kombucha! Yet harnessing the power of microbes is something that many fear.
For the first Fermentation Friday held at Brass Lion Distillery's very own herb garden and in collaboration with Melissa Mak, founder of SG Fermentation Friends and Fizzicle Kombucha. This is a 1.5-hour long workshop where you will learn how to create your own ferments & craft cocktails at home!

If you enjoy crafting and drinking, you’ll be getting the best of both worlds in this workshop.

Learn how to impress your friends and loved ones with these gin cocktails, easy to make and easy to recreate, no need to procure specialty tools. Use or take home a miniature bottle of Brass Lion’s Singapore Dry Gin so you can be your own bartender and explore creative options.

You will learn to build your own craft cocktail using Brass Lion's Singapore Dry gin and your choice of fresh lemon juice, jun kombucha, salted limes, sauerkraut (cabbage, carrots and salt), sugar fermented mints, or honey fermented lemons.

What's Included:

  • One hour session on fermentation
  • 2 mason jars with take-home starters
  • One 30 minute session on cocktail creation
  • One Brass Lion Gin Cocktail.
