SG Kayakers - Chillax Edition

We’re celebrating 14 amazing years of the SG Kayakers Interest Group with a special Sunrise Paddle in Johor Bahru on 2 Nov (Sun)!

🌅 You can also optionally join us on 1 Nov (Sat) for a cozy group dinner and overnight stay — highly encouraged so we don’t have to clear immigration in the wee hours on 2 Nov.

Choose from sea kayaks, open-deck kayaks, or SUPs and paddle into the sunrise together with fellow kayakers. The paddle is free; just cover your own meals, transport, and stay. Beginners are suitable for this programme.

CONFIRMED TRIP!

Ever wondered what autumn tastes like? Hint: it’s a mix of golden leaves, misty mornings, and a splash of adventure. Join us on a 5-day kayaking expedition where your paddle is your paintbrush and the lakes are your canvas!

Day 1 – Welcome to Hidden Dragon Bay (Meals: D)
Check in at the local homestay, assemble your foldable sea kayak (congrats, you’re now a kayak engineer), and enjoy a fun warm-up paddle on the bay.

Day 2 – Misty Morning & Wetland Wonders (Meals: B/L/D)
Optional sunrise paddle through misty waters — pure magic. After breakfast, explore the cypress wetlands (straight out of a painting), then take on an afternoon 15 km paddle challenge before dinner.

Day 3 – Journey to "Emerald Mirror Lake" (Meals: B/L/D)
Drive (~3 hrs) to the next lake. Afternoon paddle along the Left Shore. Cameras ready, autumn reflections are Insta-gold!

Day 4 – Tranquil Right Shore (Meals: B/L/D)
Full-day 20 km paddle. Picnic among autumn leaves — bonus points for leaf-throwing shots. Back before dark.

Day 5 – Autumn Leaves… and So Must We 🍂✈️ (Meal: B)
Final breakfast, group hugs, selfies, and back to real life — until autumn calls again.

💰 Price: SGD1220 / pax (min 6 pax)
Includes: all homestay meals, foldable sea kayaks, paddles + PFD, group transfers between bay & lake.
Excludes: flights, airport transfers, insurance, and DIY leaf crowns.

7:30 AM (SG): Check-in at Tanah Merah Terminal

9:10 AM (SG): Ferry departs (purchased your own ferry ticket at this timing)

9:20 AM: Pick-up by resort at Bandar Bentan Telani Terminal

10:00 AM: Resort check-in

11:00 AM: Paddle to lunch spot (<5km one way)

12:30 PM: Seafood lunch & relaxation

2:00 PM: Kayak back to resort, R&R

7:00 PM: Buffet dinner at the resort

Day 2: Kayaking & Snorkeling Adventure

7:30 AM: Breakfast

9:00 AM: Safety briefing

9:30 AM: Embark on full-day guided sea kayaking tour. Stop at selected snorkeling spots, explore marine life with gear

12:00 PM: Lunch box + hot pot (sharing) & fresh coconut at snorkeling spots

1.30 PM: Continue with kayaking

5.00 PM: Back to resort, R&R

6:30 PM: BBQ dinner by the sea

Day 3: Leisure & Departure

7:30 AM: Breakfast

Morning: Free time (beach walk, jetty jump, or relaxation), R&R

12:00 PM: Check-out & transfer

2:35 PM: Ferry back to Singapore (purchase your return ticket at this timing)

4:45 PM (SG): Reach Tanah Merah Terminal
