Monrovia canyon park has finally opened!!!
The weather should be cooler but we can start earlier at 730am if there is a preference. We can also check out the waterfall for those who are willing to add an extra mile and aren't too tired.
STATS:
Level- Strong intermediate/NO BEGINNERS
Distance- 7 miles (approx)
Gain- 1600+
Terrain- single track trails and fireroad
Restrooms- at the trailhead
Parking- $5 or you can park outside in the residential area but if you do arrive early to get to the trailhead on time
Dogs- ALLOWED ON A LEASH PER MONROVIA PARK
WHAT TO BRING: A POSITIVE ATTITUDE: energy snacks/lunch, at least 3 liters of water, electrolytes, sunscreen, cooling towel, bug net, hiking boots with good tread, poles if you like and the
