Full description: If like me you enjoy walking along rivers you might also enjoy reading about them. Our 10th book, 'There are Rivers in the Sky' by Elif Shafak, is an award winning (or at least an award nominated) tale of three characters and two rivers. I am reliably informed by the back cover that it is great, sweeping, enthralling, brilliant, unforgettable, astonishing, ingenious, beautiful, beautiful (again), moving, marvellous, intricate, exhilarating, bold, capricious, beautiful (again), wise, gorgeous, riverine(?), glorious, bright, vivid and timeless.

For any newcomers, the general formula is we will break off into groups of 3 or 4 to chat about the book and any other interesting questions that is raises. We usually mix the groups up around half way through.
