Details

Organiser: Serena
Date: 25.09.2025
Time: 6pm for drinks and food and then 7pm for the event
Location: Tramshed for food (Optional) and Event at SAME

Description: We are heading out together to support the launch of Right to Roam Sheffield, the newly formed regional branch of the national Right to Roam movement.

The Right to Roam campaign works to expand public access to nature and protect our right to enjoy the countryside, advocating to open up paths, woodlands, and landscapes across England. As a walking group, we benefit directly from these hard-won rights, and this is a great opportunity to stand in solidarity with those working to protect and extend them.

There will be an open discussion to outline the goals the group aim to achieve, resources to learn how to get involved, music, crafts and refreshment.

As a group, we will meet from 6pm at the Tramshed (51 Chesterfield Road) for a drink and some food (optional - you could just meet us at SAME), then we will walk down together to attend the event.
