GardenFest

Details
This is what it says in the title - a music festival in a garden. It's an annual event that combines music, drinks and fun, in support of a good local cause - The Sheffield Hospitals Charity Myeloma Appeal. Most of the musicians are doctors, consultants and researchers, some of them also play professionally. Come for as long or as short a time as you like; bring a chair and a picnic if you feel like making an evening of it. It's free entry - the fundraising comes mainly from from drink sales, so if you do byob, please be generous in your donation when the bucket comes round! :)
(There's a back-story here...I don't know if it's fitting to include this, but personally, I like a back story!
My sister Jaqui was diagnosed with the incurable bone marrow cancer, Myeloma, in 2015. She had brutal, but eventually successful treatment and has had 10 years remission. The Myeloma came back last year, as we knew it eventually would, and she is currently undergoing treatment again. The good news is that the treatment for Myeloma has moved on massively in the intervening years, thanks largely to research funded by efforts like this, so that this time instead of brutal chemotherapy and a stem-cell transplant, she 'only' has to undergo twice-weekly chemotherapy - and it looks like it's going to succeed! The hope is, the research team will have developed a cure by the time it comes back again.)
