Sheffield Enlightened

A chance to meet like-minded individuals in the Hillsborough area.

This group meets for social events to discuss deeper topics such as psychology, philosophy, physics, cosmology or whatever your passions (special interests) are. We also play chess, create art, and write.

You don’t need to be a genius to join, just a curious person who enjoys thinking deeply/creatively about things.

There is no set venue, but if it’s sunny, meetings can be outside in Hillsborough park, or we could head to a local café to sit inside (Courtside, Tramstop, Cat Corner, ect). We could even have field trips to local museums, galleries or nature walks.

We meet outside the Courtside Cafe in Hillsborough Park (look for the support dog in an orange vest!), then depending on people's preference, head inside a cafe or grab a drink and sit outside.

I have a decent travel chess set for anyone who wants a game, or you can bring something you would like to play. We can share a bit about ourselves and any special interests and go from there XD
