Full description: I hope you can join us for the first ever walk with the shiny brand new Sheffield Millennial Walkers.
Starting in Low Bradfield we walk alongside Damflask reservoir, before ascending up to Dungworth where there are great views of the north Sheffield countryside. We can make a stop at Our Cow Molly’s Ice Cream Shop (the best ice cream in the valley). We then make our way past Christmas trees, woods and fields and back down towards Low Bradfield, where we can stop for a drink at the Plough if there is interest. Hopefully it will be warm enough to sit in the beer garden.
Public transport or car sharing options:
Parking: There is plenty of free parking either in the cricket pitch car park or around the cricket pitch.
Public Transport: There is a tram stop just outside Hillsborough Interchange and there is a bus leaving Hillsborough Interchange at 9.45am that will get you to Low Bradfield for 10.10am. Please check the times yourself as they may change.
Be prepared: Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year, with plenty of warm clothes and waterproofs, as well as food and water. Further information on what to bring can be found on our website here: https://www.sheffieldwalkinggroup.org.uk/be-prepared
Sign-up: Sign-up for this walk opens one week before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this ***NO LATER THAN 6pm*** the night before the walk.
Please note: Sheffield Millenial Walkers are a sister group to the Sheffield 20’s and 30’s Walking Group who are part of the Ramblers, a registered charity. All of our leaders are volunteers. Everyone is welcome to join us on our walks. New members can come on up to 3 walks before joining the group. After 3 walks, we require you to sign up as a Ramblers member for insurance purposes. More
information about the group can be found at
