What we’re about
At She Goes High, we support the human behind the business, not the human as a business.
We want to know who you are... not just what you do. Ditch the elevator pitch and join our community of women and non-binary leaders!
She Goes High is not your average networking group. We're not even really a networking group.
What makes us different?
We're a community of women and non-binary humans empowering, educating, and encouraging each other as we grow in life and business.
Women and non-binary people are excellent leaders and cycle-breakers- yet, despite how far we've come, there still aren't nearly as many women and non-binary people represented in leadership roles, and finding success in business compared to cis men. To shift this dynamic, it is our belief that we need to be advocates for each other, first and foremost.
That's where we come in. At She Goes High, we don't focus solely on either our personal or professional lives. We've created a community that helps women rise together, in all areas of life, so that we may gain confidence, step into greater leadership roles, take up more space in the world, and make an impact in our communities.
With local groups and events around Northern Colorado, She Goes High is empowering women and non-binary people in Fort Collins and beyond!
- Building relationships, not transactions
We believe building community is the best way to build ourselves. Ditch the elevator pitch and join a community of humans who care about who you are, not just what you do.
- Accessibility for all women and non-binary folx
We're all in different phases of business and career, and it's important to us to offer support for people in all walks of life. Our regular monthly lunch and learn events are always free! For those wanting more of what this community has to offer, our Impact Membership is for you!
- Encouragement to show up just as you are
Authenticity is a beautiful thing. At She Goes High, we invite you to show up just as you are - no need to fake a smile or "put on your game face!" We know you are enough, just as you are- masking not required.
- Business, career, and personal development
At our free monthly events, our presenters cover a wide range of topics, from marketing to mental health and beyond - because taking care of business also means taking care of ourselves! We support the human behind the business, not the human as a business.
- Created by introverts, for introverts
Not into the schmoozy stuff? Neither are we! That's why we focus on creating a safe and welcoming space for introverts ( because let's face it - the extroverts will show up anyway)!
- Neurodiversity is welcome here!
Most of our leadership team and many of our members are neurodivergent. Our events are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for neurospicy and neurotypical folx.
- Queer safe space
We're queer founded and operated, and our space is safe for LBTQIA+. We're here to welcome and celebrate YOU, just as you are! (Yay!)

ABOUT OUR PRESENTATION:
Join us for a panel of experts and women who have personal experience with mental health. Mental Health IS health. It is such a critical topic, and can be life or death, yet it is still such treated as a taboo topic in many spaces.
She Goes High is changing that. Our founder, Chrysta Bairre, has been vocal, vulnerable, and raw as she shares her personal experience with mental health, and we are bringing you a panel of experts and everyday women who have personal experience with mental health to openly discuss and answer questions you may have about this topic.

I have experience in helping clients develop a mind-body connection - learning how stress, trauma, and emotions are felt and held in the body. My approach allows the client freedom to explore how their nervous system has adapted to handle trauma and stress throughout their lifetime. This awareness leads to healing and helps facilitate trauma reprocessing. I use EMDR therapy to help clients process the residual imprints of trauma that often cause anxiety, depression, anger issues, and chronic health problems.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Colorado. I am trained in EMDR therapy and trauma-sensitive yoga, and I am pursuing training in Neurofeedback Therapy and Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy. My main clinical interests are in trauma therapy, group therapy, relational-cultural theory, attachment-focused therapy, parts work, yoga & mindfulness interventions, Neurofeedback, neuro-counseling, psychodrama, grief, anger, and stress-related illness.
At a retreat in India in 2005, a lecture on ahimsa (non-violence) sparked an interest in yoga philosophy and mental health. I later became trained in trauma-sensitive yoga, which ignited my lifelong interest in psychology and counseling into a desire to become a professional trauma therapist. I have lived in rural ranching communities in Wyoming, downtown San Francisco, and North India. This diverse experience means that I am comfortable relating with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. I believe that spirituality can help clients make meaning of their pain and find resources for life-long healing and growth. I can provide therapy in English and/or in Hindi.
I am based in Northern Colorado but I spent over 10 years of my adult life living and working in India. I am the founder and board chair of Hope Roots. Since relocating to Colorado in 2019, I also work as the project coordinator for the Northern Colorado Human Trafficking Symposium.
