Welcome to the NOVA Hiking Collective! 🌄
Love hiking but don't want to go alone? This group is for people in their 20-40s who enjoy getting outside, staying active, and meeting new people from the DMV area.
Most of our hikes will be moderate day hikes in traveling distance from Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland.
We will frequently explore trails at:
Shenandoah National Park
George Washington and Jefferson National Forest
Great Falls Park
Sky Meadows State Park
Harpers Ferry
This group is perfect for you if:
- You enjoy hikes that are on the moderate to difficult side with rewarding views
- You want to meet other motivated individuals from around the area
- You enjoy the outdoors and staying active

Group organizers are volunteers, not professional guides. You are responsible for your own safety, preparation, and readiness during the hike. By attending our events, you agree that the hikes we organize can be dangerous and cause serious injury.
