Catoctin Mountain Park Afternoon Hike

Join us for an afternoon/evening hike at Catoctin Mountain Park! We will be hiking the Cat Rock, Chimney Rock, Wolf Rock, and Thurmont Vista Loop. This loop is 7.4 miles with an elevation gain of 1633ft. This hike is estimated to take anywhere from 4-4.5 hours to complete. This hikes has some of the most popular viewpoints of the park!

Plan:
- Meet at the Thurmont Vista Parking Area at 1pm. We will hike at a moderate pace stopping to see each viewpoint. The loop contains multiple viewpoints of Catoctin Mountain Park. Also feel free to bring your camera and snacks for when we stop!
- Plan to be done and back at the parking lot around 5-6pm (well before sunset). Shout out to the time change!
