Shanghai × Shenzhen – Expanding the Circuit
·OnlineOnlinePlease add my WeChat GTcanada
For over a year, our Shanghai Entrepreneurs Meetup has grown into one of the city’s most vibrant communities for builders, founders, and curious minds. We’ve hosted dozens of events, sparked countless collaborations, and built something genuinely special.
But recently, THE GOD OF TECHNOLOGY (yes, we’re taking creative liberty) delivered a clear message: it’s blasphemy to ignore Shenzhen.
So we’re answering the call.First step: a cross-city WeChat group – a space to share ideas, intros, and energy between Shanghai and Shenzhen before we even plan a physical event. Think of it as a digital bridge between China’s two innovation capitals.
Second step: find a Shenzhen-based co-conspirator.
We’re looking for someone who knows the local scene, loves bringing people together, and might want to run their own version of our meetup (frankly, we expect it to be better – Shenzhen has that effect). Full creative freedom. We’ll share everything we’ve learned – formats, speaker outreach, operations, and lessons from 12+ months of trial and error. To join the conversation:
Add me on WeChat – GTcanada – and mention “Shenzhen” in your request.
Whether you're in Shanghai, Shenzhen, or just curious about where this goes – come say hi. The first conversation is always the hardest. The second one changes everything. If you're in Shanghai and would like to attend one of Karen's upcoming events, please reach out to her directly. You can find an example of a past event via THIS LINK.
