Transformative Play: Awaken the Wonder Within

Remember when everything felt like magic? When you could turn a stick into a wand, a cape into a superpower, or a field into a kingdom? That version of you still exists — and it has something to teach you.

In this energizing, full-body workshop, we use movement, mindfulness, and embodied play to tap back into the awe, aliveness, and silly brilliance of childhood. You’ll explore themed play stations (obstacle course, finger paint, body paint, superhero dress-up, parachute play), practice being fully in your body, and connect with others in playful, pressure-free ways. Permission to be weird. To be soft. To be curious.

You’ll leave with:

• A joyful reconnection to your playful self
• Insights into how embodiment supports change
• A renewed sense of presence, wonder, and possibility

Come as you are. No performance, costumes, or past experience needed. Just bring your willingness to move, explore, and get a little messy.

How to prepare:
-> Please arrive 10-15 minutes EARLY. We will start promptly at 5pm.
-> You might get messy! Bring clothes you're ok getting finger paints on
-> We'll be OUTSIDE. Bring weather appropriate clothing.
-> Bring a blanket or mat to lie on (and a cushion if needed)
-> Bring water and snacks if needed
-> Exact location details given upon sign up (Fernhill Park in NE Portland)
-> Bring a journal and pen/pencil
-> Come with a curious, open mind
-> Be prepared to sign a WAIVER before participating
