Tour Highbridge Water Tower & Walk the High Bridge

Details

Join Shorewalkers and the Urban Park Rangers on a tour inside the iconic Highbridge Water Tower to learn about the history of New York City's water supply and enjoy the panoramic views from the top of the 200-foot tower. After, we'll walk across the High Bridge to the Bronx side and back, and then follow the Old Croton Aqueduct trail through the park. The walk ends at 145th Street with several subway lines available. The walk is less than 3 miles, plus the 174 stairs to the observation level of the tower.
