International Coastal Cleanup along the Hudson River

Details
Let's come together for International Coastal Cleanup Day at Fort Washington Park to help keep our Hudson River shoreline clean and beautiful!
Shorewalkers will join Riverside Park to clean up the beach, pick up trash, and make a positive impact on our environment. Come out and help make a difference!
MEET: 9 a.m. at Broadway and 157th Street in the small park area on the SW corner. The #1 train stops here, and the C a few blocks away. At 9:15 a.m., we'll use the ramp at 158th Street to enter Riverside Park, then walk north 1 mile to the cleanup area at 172nd Street. There are restrooms close to the cleanup area.
** If you prefer to meet us at the cleanup site, or you are running late, enter Riverside Park at 158th or 181st Streets and find us by the yellow tent at 172nd Street and the Hudson River. **
WEAR: hat, long pants that can get dirty, and closed-toe shoes. Gloves and tools are provided although you may bring your own.
BRING: water and snacks to keep energized for a few hours of work.
The cleanup ends at 12:00 pm and we'll exit the Park at 181st Street to 1/A trains.
