Grimbergen circular walk and guided Abbey visit

[A perfect blend of nature and culture ]

Hi,

Join us for a scenic hike through the beautiful surroundings of Grimbergen, where we will explore peaceful trails and picturesque landscapes.

We commence with a not too fast walk (around 11km, 2h30) which will be followed by a guided visit in English to the historic Grimbergen Abbey and the new Grimbergen Experience Brewery (1-2h), where tradition meets innovation.

The Grimbergen Experience invites visitors to step into the rich world of Belgian beer and takes them on a journey through the history of Grimbergen Abbey and a world of exciting flavours, craft, innovation and the Monastic art of brewing that has been mastered by the Father’s on the historic site over centuries.

Guide tour fee will be €19 per person. We need at least 12 people to sign up for the Abbey visit.

The walk and interesting museum events are co-organized with Meetup 'Museum' group (Brussels ).
You should sign up for each event separately, well, because there are two meetup groups:

10:35-10:40: Brussels-Nord track 11 (by train) -> Vilvoorde
Vilvoorde (by bus) -> Grimbergen

11:30 the hike should start
13:30 end of hike, lunch break - picnic

Part 2
(13:23 Brussels Nord - Bus R30 Steenstraat)
14:15 RDV in front of the Abbey
