About us
Meet your neighbors. Support local restaurants. Discover your libraries.
Show Up Local AZ brings people together across the Phoenix West Valley for friendly outings that support the places that make our community special.
🍴 Lunch Local: Meet at independently owned restaurants to enjoy lunch, connect with new people, and support a local business.
📚 Library Local: Explore local libraries together and discover books, programs, technology, and services you might not know they offer.
Come solo, bring a friend, or join with your family. You don’t need to know anyone beforehand—that’s part of why we’re here!
Our goal is to meet about twice a month, alternating between restaurant lunches and library visits. Participation is free; everyone pays for any food they choose to order. Any optional contributions help cover community activities and operating expenses.
Have a favorite neighborhood restaurant or a library worth exploring? We welcome your suggestions.
Let’s turn online connections into a community that shows up.
