Shuttlers Badminton Club Meetup Group

Badminton Wednesday is a fun, friendly weekly session for badminton enthusiasts who are looking for regular competitive sessions.

Our sessions are primarily for players who can compete at intermediate to advanced level.

We also encourage beginners and improving players who wish to receive coaching and have a designated court for this - scroll down for further details for coaching .

We provide hybrid feather shuttles and games are organised to maximise competition and allow players to rotate partners.

We have access to 4 courts and attendees must wear the appropriate footwear and clothing.

Coaching:
If you are a beginner or improver we offer coaching with an accredited Badminton England coach is available. Coaching is on one court and the session starts at 8.00 pm for 1 hour. Places are limited and there is demand to join, so please confirm your interest or RSVP as soon as practical.

Coaching is £12.50 per person for 1 hour. There is an option to participate in general play from 9pm - 10 pm at an additional cost of £4.50 per person.

General Play:
Costs for general play is £9 for a 2 hour session from 8pm - 10pm. This session is open to players at intermediate level and above.

Racquet hire:
If you wish to hire a racquet, hire cost is £5 + £20 returnable deposit when the racquet is returned to us in it's original condition. We operate a pay and play policy so we ask that all members make payment either in advance or when you arrive for your session - see payments details below.

We have access to 4 courts and attendees must wear the appropriate footwear and clothing.

If you wish to hire a racket the hire cost is £5 + £20 returnable deposit when the racket is returned to us in it's original condition.

Cost: £9 per session. We operate a pay and play policy so we ask that all members make payment when you arrive for your session - see payments details below.

The 86, 25 and 425 run from Ilford through to Romford Road. The 241, 262, and 69 run from Plaistow to Stratford Station. The 257 runs from Leytonstone High Road to Stratford Station.

Maryland Station is a 7 minute walk
Stratford Station is a 10 minute walk
From Morrisons supermarket in Stratford, cross over the road and as you walk through the supermarket car park you will see the school building. Exit the car park via the entrance on the right hand side and you will now be on Deanery Road.

From Romford Rd turn into Deanery Rd, take the first right turn and the school is immediately on your left.
