Shut Up & Write!® in Boulder

Hello! This is intended to be a judgment free zone in pursuit of simply writing for writing sake with community. We do not peer review, critique works, or read each other's materials. The goal is to be productive, creative, and to optionally connect with others.

Ideal for body doubling a project, book, poem, dissertation, journaling, homework assignment--whatever it may be. All writing experiences are welcome! No one will see what you've written or give unsolicited advice.

This group meets Thursdays 10a - 11:15a. When you see the table with the Shut Up & Write! sign you've come to the right place.

What to bring:
Anything that you will use to write and help you write such as headphones, earplugs, water bottle, etc.

What to expect:
9:45a - You are welcome to show up earlier to grab a drink/food, claim your spot, chat, and peruse the bookstore.

10a - Meet+Greet. Sharing writing goals/intentions.
10:15a - Timer starts: write in silence for 1 hour
11:15a - End. Recap. Share your experience.

You’re welcome to socialize afterwards if the vibe is right.
