Join us for an hour of writing!

It can be amazingly helpful to write with other writers. Accountability is an ally of productivity.

See if it’s true for you at 7pm on Wednesdays at MORGAN LIBRARY...

... walk in through the front doors from Central Avenue Mall and go past the Library Services desk and up the stairs to the second floor and take a right and look around for a group of writers that sometimes remembers to put up a table tent; we are often, visibly, the most "aged" group of people, although not always!

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, poem, or just plain work or school stuff, you're invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done!

SCHEDULE
• 7:00pm - Everyone starts to arrive and get settled
• 7:05pm-ish – Quick intros
• 7:15pm – Timer starts and the writing hour begins
• 8:15pm – The end of the writing hour is announced
Optional socializing happens from 8:15 onward...

Being late is okay—just show up and get settled. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly late-comer.

Writing is very solitary, so connecting and commiserating with other writers can be a great thing.

VENUE INFORMATION

• FREE parking is available in the parking lot west of the Morgan Library as well as the parking lot north of the Lory Student Center; both are only a short walk (a minute or two) from the Morgan Library entrance

• Outlets are abundant, but sometimes not as close as we would like to the tables we inhabit, so make sure your laptop or other device is fully charged before you arrive

• Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block out the conversation by other patrons

• WiFi is free and available within the building

• There is a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available at Morgan's Grind Cafe [1st floor, 7:30am – 8:30pm], and a limited menu, as well. Please please feel free to bring your own food and/or drink, as well!

Your focus determines your reality.
