PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

• We are not a critique group. We're just here to motivate each other to keep moving towards our goals. You're more than welcome to reach out for feedback, but just be ready to shut up & write once the timer starts.
• We'll be in the community room towards the back by the cafe.
• The room is very quiet. We'll be experimenting with music to offset it, but bring headphones if you prefer your own music.

Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 3 on Tuesday afternoons.

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

SCHEDULE:
3:00 - General chatting and catching up
3:15 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour
4:15 - Stick around to chat or take off

OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 4:15. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.

BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
