Comunque, siamo persone a cui piacciamo leggere e parlare in questa lingua. Noi concentriamo imparare la storia e la cultura di questo bel paese. Allora ciascuna persona legge una frase in italiano, la traduce in inglese, e impariamo un po' di vocabolario. Finalmente, ci conosciamo, parliamo fra di noi, e facciamo amici.
Mia madre e’ cresciuta in Italia (durante la guerra), e dopo esser venuta qui , ha insegnato la lingua in universita’, e anche a me.
We are people who like to read and talk in this language. We will learn the history and culture of the country. So, each person can read a sentence in Italian, translate it to English, and we all learn some vocabulary. Finally, we get to know each other, talk to each other, and make friends.
My mother was raised in Italy (during the war), and after coming here, she taught the language in university and to me.
