6-Mile Shady Hike at Tillie K. Fowler Park
Join us for a hike at our neighborhood park, Tillie Fowler. This park has very good shade from big trees, so it is not too hot. The trails are not 6 miles in one section, so we are combining them:
We will go from the Island Trail (2.25 miles—it is very green like a jungle), to the Tower Trail (1.25 miles—we can climb the tower to see the river view), to the Old Brick Road (0.5 miles), and finally to the WKC Bike Trail (2.5 miles). This last trail is very winding and has a lot of shade.
