About us
What We’re About:
Sid's Badminton Club is a popular, friendly, and competitive badminton club in Central London and Richmond, West London. We meet at Queen Mother Sports Centre in Victoria and Christ Church School near Richmond Tube Station.
Session Times:
- Tuesdays: 8 PM - 10 PM QMSC Victoria
- Saturdays: 2 PM - 5 PM (league match at QMSC Victoria)
- Sundays: 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM (April to mid-Jan), 6 PM - 9 PM (mid-Jan to April) at Christ's School
Membership:
We offer Membership to strong intermediate level male players and above, and intermediate ladies’ players and above. For enquiries on how becoming a Tuesday or Sunday club member, contact us at info@sidsbadmintonclub.org.uk. Otherwise, you can attend the session on a pay-as-you-play basis. League Players:
We are looking for more league players to join the suited Sid's Double teams. Please apply within.
Facilities:
Our club features sprung wooden flooring and high ceilings. We have also got a great venue in Richmond.
Match Season (October to April):
Limited places for intermediate to advanced players to try out our club on Tuesdays between 8 PM - 10 PM on a pay-and-play basis. No membership required. During other months, welcoming everyone from lower intermediate to advanced players.
Cost:
£12 per session on Tuesdays 2 hours and Sundays 3 hours, including the use of quality feather shuttlecocks. Payment is required at the beginning by correct cash or transfer.
RSVP:
Players must RSVP on a scheduled 'meetup' to play. If unable to attend, release your place 12 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in penalty and revoked Meetup membership due to limited places.
