Proud Lake State Recreation Area Hike

Join us for a 3 mile slower-paced hike on trails that wander through a variety of landscapes including forests, marshlands, and parts of the Huron River. Bring your 4 legged friends and enjoy a great hike in the woods with them.

Please arrive at 9:45 AM for sign in so we can start promptly at 10:00 AM.
Cost: free, but requires state park entry fee or passport.

The hike leader plans to kayak afterward, but that will not be a Sierra Club event. You are welcome to join.

From I-96 & Wixom Rd, go north on Wixom Rd 7.2 miles (Wixom Rd will jog to left then right), turn right on Park Headquarters Rd (just before "Proud Lake State Recreation Area" sign), go 0.2 miles, see trailhead parking lot on left.
