Hickory Ridge Trail Work and Free Pizza

Details
Please help the Friends of Island Lake maintain our great hikers-only Hickory Ridge trail!
We will be performing general trail maintenance along the trail as it circles Trout Lake. We will be cutting back shrubs and branches using pruners.
Please bring gloves and small saws, loppers or electric hedge trimmers if you have any. We have a limited amount of loppers.
We will work for 2.5 and enjoy a pizza dinner afterward, compliments of the Friends of Island Lake. You are welcome to also join the Friends meeting at 7PM at the park HQ.
Long pants are also a good idea, as there is poison ivy along/in the trail.
Meet at the trailhead at the Kent Lake Beach, the first lot on the left as you drive straight into the park.
Cost: free, but requires state park entry fee or passport
For more information, please post here or contact Tony Pitts at trails@islandlakefriends.org.
