The Million Blossoms Outing

Details

Join Crossroads leaders Lee and Roberta at their house for a flower display like you’ve never seen before. Arrive at or after 6:00 to tour the yard and pondsite where there will be a million blooms or more including wingstem, oxeye, cup plants, woodland sunflowers, great lobelia, boneset, Joe Pye weed, jewelweed, arrowhead and others. After touring the flowers feel free to linger and socialize. Bring your camera, something to drink and a perhaps a snack to share. Your hosts will have cups, plates, ice and some drinks.

Trips around our yard and pond are short but the flower show is magnificent and you may wish to sit at the pond a while and enjoy the views, the birds, the butterflies, the dragonflies. This will also be a time to socialize and get to know other Crossroads supporters and leaders, which is why we suggest bringing something to drink and a snack to share. There are some other short trails around our property that borders Brighton State Recreation Area for those who wish to get into the woods or check out the tamarack bog. We welcome you all to a relaxing evening of flowers and friendship.
