This month, we are joined by Sheridan Gemuendt, the City of Largo’s Sustainability and Resilience Administrator, as she shares the city’s progress since the adoption of its Sustainability and Resilience Action Plan in 2024. Learn how Largo is addressing climate risks, reducing emissions, and building a more equitable community through innovative programs and partnerships. Sheridan will provide updates on key initiatives, including lift station resilience projects, energy efficiency, solar, and the city's process for using sustainability, resilience, and equity data to help guide the city's budget.

We will also provide updates on local municipalities and reports from our various committees as well as sharing upcoming events.

We have many opportunities to get involved! Find out how you can help keep Pinellas green spaces green, keep our water and air clean, transition our area to clean energy, meet with and advocate for environmentally-aware elected officials, and create a better climate for all!
