March on Sun Day

Details
Subject: Join Us for the San José March for Climate Justice – on Sun Day, Sept 21
Meet me at the William McKinley Statue in St. James Park in San Jose.
This is a Sierra Club Loma Prieta Partnership with the Unitarian Universalist Church - Climate activists. This will be fun!
On Sunday, September 21, we are raising our voices for clean energy and climate justice in celebration of Sun Day, a national day of mobilization. Together we’ll call for California to speed the transition to renewables because our communities deserve clean air and lower utility bills!
Please arrive at the First Unitarian Church of San José (160 N 3rd Street) by 12:30 pm. We’ll march to City Hall at 12:30 for a rally, then return to St. James Park for a community picnic and conversation to continue building momentum.
Family-friendly—bring signs, wear green, and pack a non-perishable lunch!
📅 Sunday, Sept 21 | 12:30–2:30pm
