Evening Bird Walk #2 in Hahamongna
Hahamongna Watershed Park, 4550 Oak Grove Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, CA, USSpring is here, and the foothills are alive with the sights and sounds of local and migratory birds. Join us for another beautiful spring evening of walking and bird watching in Hahamongna Park, a local hotspot where Acorn Woodpeckers, Red Tailed Hawks, Phainopeplas, Blue Grey Gnatcatchers, Hooded Orioles, Western and Cassin's Kingbirds, Allen's and Anna's Hummingbirds, Yellow Rumped Warblers, and Yellow Warblers may be seen. We don't know what we'll see this time, but we're curious to find out.
We'll walk at a leisurely pace, stopping to listen and see birds along the way, for 2 miles round trip with minimal elevation gain and a few small hill climbs.
