Five Front Range Peaks: San Gabriel, Disappointment, Deception, Markham, Lowe

Join us for a peak-bagging extravaganza! Starting from Eaton Saddle, we'll hike and climb from the highest peak in the Front Range, San Gabriel Peak (6161'), to the lowest, Mt. Lowe (5606'), with three peaks in between: Mt. Disappointment, Mt. Deception, and Mt. Markham. Our pace will be moderate yet steady. Terrain will be variable, ranging from steep use trails to fire roads. Along the way we'll enjoy spectacular views of the LA basin and beyond. Total distance 10 miles, 2460' gain. Steady rain cancels the hike.

Bring: 2 liters water, lunch and/or snacks, sturdy hiking shoes or boots, layered clothing, jacket, hat, sun protection, and filled-out medical form in case of emergency (see link below).
