WNC Sierra Club 8/6: Identifying and Replacing Invasive Plants

Join us at our August WNC Sierra Club meeting for a discussion about how to identify and remove invasive plants, and how to replace them with native ones.

Bob Gale, retired ecologist & Public Lands Director for MountainTrue, will discuss the ecological problems presented by these non-native invasive plants and provide strategies and methods for dealing with them in backyards, gardens, and larger acreages. He will also provide resources for selecting native tree, shrub, and groundcover alternatives.
