Join us April 15 as we raise the alarm about the Trump administration's plan to rescind a key rule that protects national forests across the country.

We'll be teaming up with the NC Sierra Club to hold a Roadless Rule Community Roundtable at 6-8 p.m. at the Mule, located at 131 Sweeten Creek Road in Asheville.

The administration plans to rescind the 2001 Roadless Rule, which protects roadless areas in national forests across the country. This includes more than 123,000 acres in the Pisgah and Nantahala national forests, which are not protected by wilderness designations.

Other groups involved with this event include the Wilderness Society, Mountain True, Audubon, the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), the Center for Biological Diversity, and Environment North Carolina.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP using this link.
