Hike to Moore's Cove Falls

Join us for a lovely hike to an incredible waterfall! We will meet in West Asheville at 9:30 am on Tuesday May 12th and those who would like to do so can carpool. Once we arrive at the trailhead the group will then hike .75 miles up the trail to Moore’s Cove Falls. This is a relatively easy hike on a well-maintained trail with an elevation gain of only 154 feet to get to the falls. We will take about an hour to reach the falls stopping to admire the stream and forest views. We will spend about 30 minutes at the falls which you can walk behind and relax! Be sure to bring snacks or lunch as well as water. Check the forecast and dress appropriately. We will plan to return at an easy pace back to the parking area ~ 2:00 pm.
