Join the WNC Sierra Club for a beautiful hike in the Pisgah National Forest. The John Rock Loop hike features around 1,100 feet of elevation gain up to a scenic overlook where we will have a snack and rest. This hike is about 5.9 miles in length and will take us approximately 3-4 hours. Be prepared for elevation gain and creek crossings. Make sure to pack food and water to stay nourished and hydrated! Wear gear that you are comfortable hiking in and good shoes. It is also a good idea to have rain gear just to be safe. If you are feeling unwell and/or have a fever, please help us to keep everyone safe and healthy by waiting for the next outing. Families, friends, and pets are all welcome. An adult must accompany all children. All dogs must remain on a leash and be friendly to all.

Please register using this Link to John Rock Loop Registration.
