Let's Go Paddling! Meet others who love the outdoors and waterways of Northern CA. Your are invited to explore this great sport with us. Enjoy a flat-water paddling experience and make some new friends too.
We paddle flat water, slow-moving rivers and protected ocean settings. Basic paddling ability is required for club outings. Novices can ask for a club mentor to learn basic skills.
Outings include day trips in the Nevada County area and multi-day camping trips in Northern CA and beyond.
The purpose of SNCKC is:
Share paddling as a safe, enjoyable and congenial experience.
Introduce members to new places to paddle.
Create opportunities for members to increase paddling proficiency,
Offer a central communication hub through the monthly meeting, newsletter and website.
Provide social, informational and recreational gatherings associated with the sport of paddling.
Monthly club meetings are held on the forth Thursday of most months at 6:00 pm in Seaman's lodge, Pioneer Park, 427 Nimrod Street, Nevada City.
