Imran Khaliq is a partner and patent attorney in the San Francisco office of Arent Fox LLP where he is a member of the firm’s Complex Litigation and Intellectual Property practices. Imran has litigated and obtained patents for clients in several technical areas, such as software, semiconductors, mobile devices, cloud and Internet technologies, medical devices and biotechnology. He has experience in courts throughout the US, including federal and state courts in California, Texas, New York, Florida and Nevada. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Patent Trials and Appeals Board (PTAB) and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. He regularly counsels start-ups and entrepreneurs on how to effectively to develop and manage their IP portfolios.

Sarah Bruno is a partner at Arent Fox and helps her clients protect and maintain their intellectual property rights and publicize their brands through promotions and advertising campaigns. She also helps clients navigate privacy and data security issues that arise during marketing campaigns and retail and e-commerce platforms. Her clients are in a variety of industries, including entertainment, media, retail, and automotive. As part of the intellectual property group, Sarah has a great deal of experience in policing and enforcing client’s trademarks, copyrights, and publicity rights.

Alper Ertas is an associate and patent attorney in Arent Fox’s complex litigation and intellectual property groups.
