Silicon Valley Unicycle Group is all about bringing people of all ages together to learn, practice and ride unicycle in the South Bay and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We offer activities such as clinics, bike path riding, mountain unicycling, etc. All activities are free of charge unless required for parking or venue access.

Guests on two wheels are welcome on this ride.

This is a 13 mile ride on paved bike paths. Terrain is all flat with a few underpass ramps. Since this is an out-and-back ride, you can turn around anytime if you prefer a shorter ride. There are gravel/dirt options along the way if preferred.

Bike to Wherever Day (formerly Bike to Work Day) is an event sponsored by the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC). They will have Energizer Stations throughout Silicon Valley in the morning of Friday, May 21. Besides free snacks, they will also give out free messenger bags (while supplies last). ABOUT THE RIDE

This is an 8.5 mile out-and-back ride from Riverview Park in San Jose to the south end of the San Jose Airport runway (just before the Hwy 880 underpass). The entire ride will be on the paved Guadalupe River Trail. Terrain is flat with a few underpass ramps.

SKILLS & UNICYCLE

Be able to free mount and ride continuously for a few miles. Be comfortable with riding among fast-moving bicyclists and unpredictable kids. Any unicycles 24" and larger will do.

Street parking is available along Riverview Park.
