West Sound Cycling Club (WSCC) offers rides for cyclists who enjoy being with friends and having fun all year long. Most rides are socially-paced and include pauses at points of interest such as museums or cafes. Local rides are in Kitsap County or adjoining counties. Pacific Northwest multi-day tours (and beyond) are part of our event mix.
In addition to organizing rides, we advocate for safer streets for cyclists. Those of you interested in improving the health and livability of our community by promoting safer roads for cyclists and pedestrians are invited to join our Bike Advocacy committee.
Due to insurance requirements, Meetup members who do not have a paid WSCC membership may ride ONE TIME only with the club before becoming paid members. The cost of membership is $25 per year per individual, $40 per family.
We require a liability waiver to be signed by paid participants once a year. Ride leaders might ask for each rider's cell phone and emergency contact numbers in case of separation or accident.
As a paid member you are eligible to use the club’s group subscription to Ride With GPS (RWGPS). RWGPS gives you the ability to plan a bike route in minutes while learning the route distance and elevation gain.
