Sunday Mountain Bike Ride #1

Happy Fathers Day!
We've scheduled three Sunday mountain bike rides in a row. This is the first one, and while maybe not technically the easiest, it's the shortest.
It's easy to moderate (greenish/blueish) mountain bike ride in the Salt Lick recreation area in Silverthorne. About a 7 - 8 mile ride that takes an hour and 30 minutes max. It's mostly a loop ride with most of the climbing right at the start and actually fairy mellow. The top of the ride is a beautiful overlook of Frisco and Lake Dillon.
This area was a burn scar decades ago, but now is a newly developing aspen forest. It's really beautiful to see all the new growth flourishing. We can certainly take our time and enjoy the scenery.
