What we’re about
In this safe space, liberate your soul of hurt, pain, and shame... while cultivating hope, gratitude, and self-acceptance.
Together, we sing chants and singalongs, some of which have layers for luscious harmonies.
Participants often rise to their feet, raising their arms to the heavens! They say things like:
"I felt safe to reveal my shadow parts, to claim truth over story, and to practice living into a more powerful version of me."
"I cried twice and was able to touch into some deep threads around worth and ‘enoughness’ that were challenging me. I felt supported and safe to share."
"Trevor's music is like a wave of love and healing energy bathing all my cells and my aura."
"You created a warm and welcoming space for vulnerability.”

Sing Your Soul Free (Healing song circle)
East Bay Church of Religious Science, 4130 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, CA, USOur Dec 19 circle will feature a winter solstice song, an easy Jewish chant with Hebrew words for "We bring peace upon you", and probably a couple of easy interfaith gospel songs.
Do you like singing with a diverse community? Me too! So I'm thrilled to be leading healing song circles at an interfaith, ethnically diverse spiritual center ... just two blocks from the Macarthur BART station.
You'll get to sing with a diverse interfaith community. We liberate our souls of hurt, pain, and shame... while cultivating hope, gratitude, and self-acceptance. We'll sing chants and singalongs, some of which have luscious harmonies.
We sing songs to heal the spirit, not religious songs. When a song mentions God (which happens occasionally), I provide alternative words such as “love” and “goodness” so each participant can sing words aligned with their values.
This location is just two blocks from the MacArthur BART station! Register here: https://ebcrs.org/event/sing-your-soul-free/
IMPORTANT LOGISTICS: Once we start bonding and letting our souls open, it feels so much better to have a closed container. That's why doors will close at 7:15pm. So kindly arrive before then.
You may park in the gated parking lot at 41st & Telegraph. Enter through the front door on Telegraph Ave.
